With a promising job opportunity, my family moved to another state before we decided to sell the house. It soon became a headache for us as my wife and I had no prior experience selling a house and we were already hundreds of miles away. However, my wife reminded me of the agent who had sold our neighbor’s house seemed to be very diligent and methodical. I then recalled from my memory immediately, among other things, I was indeed impressed to receive the beautiful advertising card for my neighbor’s house in my mailbox. I have never seen such a beautiful listing card for years during the time I lived there. I then searched online to find Cynthia’s contact and looked into her sales record, which seemed outstanding as well. So I decided to give it a shot and dialed her number… In about a week, I signed the offer I was satisfied with, among a few other contenders. As you can imagine, Cynthia did all the groundwork in between to make it happen. Let me just highlight a few things from my experience: first of all, she definitely has all the expertise when it comes to the real estate market, the process to sell the property, including but not limited to, how to set my asking price appropriately, what are the steps, according time lines, what are the pros and cons of strategies and what our contingent plan was. Second, she also has the connections to call for good resources to fix things in the house here and there, with solid results and very reasonable prices. Finally, beyond the professional knowledge she has, I think it’s really her diligent work style that probably differentiates her the most from other good realtors out there. For my case, my wife and I just couldn’t be there, but she really made our lives easier by reminding us the important steps at the right time on the phone, and did the rest for us to make the magic happen. To summarize, it was one of the best decisions we have made to let Cynthia sell our house and interestingly, my wife is now even boasting how good she is to identify the right people from very limited information. Frankly speaking, I’ve been thinking one day, when I retire and want to move back to Florida, I probably will call Cynthia again to help us buy a house that time…
